In the first, starting at 5 p.m. ET, FS1 presents the New York Yankees vs. the Minnesota Twins (the Yankees dominated Friday’s Game 1, by a score of 10-4). Then, at 9 p.m. ET, FS1 has the Tampa Bay Rays vs. the Houston Astros (in Game 1, the Astros beat the Rays, 6-2).

This new HBO standup comedy special has Gary Gulman taking the stage, and the microphone, to speak frankly – and sometimes, but not always, very humorously – about his lifelong struggle with depression. If comedy is indeed the best medicine, I prescribe this special without hesitation. Depression isn’t funny, but Gulman is.

Tonight’s lineup may be not only the strongest SNL lineup of the year, but of the entire decade. Taylor Swift is the musical star, and the host, who just carted away more than her share of statuettes at last Sunday’s Emmy Awards, is Fleabag writer and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge. SEASON PREMIERE: It’s not Chinatown, Jake, but it’s close. In the Season 3 premiere of this Billy Bob Thornton legal series, Thornton’s Billy McBride squares off against a tough new adversary: a corporate California farmer who’s profiting from his neighbors illegally by siphoning off their water rights. And the farmer is played by Dennis Quaid, who’s signed on as a season-long recurring player. For a full review, see David Hinckley's All Along the Watchtow

SEASON PREMIERE: Season 5 of this rough-and-tumble British series begins with its characters and focus spread far and wide, from native England to Monte Carlo and the United States. All the fast-moving initial action, though, takes place on the same day: the day in 1929 on which the American stock market crashed, plunging the country into the Great Depression. And because of their international financial investments, some of the Peaky characters become greatly depressed as well. For fu

At 4:30 p.m. ET, TBS presents Game 2 in the National League Division Series contest between St. Louis and Atlanta. (In last night’s Game 1, the Braves had a 3-1 lead going into
