KIM AKASS is Professor of Radio, Television and Film at Rowan University. She is co-editor and contributor to Reading Sex and the City, Reading Six Feet Under: TV To Die For, Quality TV: Contemporary American TV and Beyond, and many other edited collections. She is a founding editor of the television journal Critical Studies in Television and managing editor of the website CSTonline (Twitter). Her new book, From Here to Maternity: Representations of Motherhood in the Media is planned for 2020-21.
