BIANCULLI’S BEST BETS

Fox, 8:00 p.m. ET

“The bad guys in this town are changing,” Jim Gordon says in tonight’s episode. Ironically, he’s saying it to the guy who, unknown to Gordon, is the biggest new villain of them all. And tonight, that bad guy, Galavan (James Frain), keeps rising in Gotham City politics – while killing and manipulating every step of the way.

CW, 8:00 p.m. ET

If you found, and stayed with, last week’s series premiere, you’ve already seen one of the fall’s best new series. If you didn’t, dive in tonight anyway, whether or not you catch up on streaming video. Last week, Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) moved to West Covina, CA to chase down an old boyfriend, only to discover, despite his Facebook status, that he has a girlfriend. Tonight, Rebecca meets that girlfriend. The encounter isn’t exactly music to Rebecca’s ears – but it is to ours, because Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is a musical.

Fox Sports 1, 8:00 p.m. ET

Tonight is Game 3 in the Kansas City Royals vs. Toronto Blue Jays ALCS. The Royals, with home-field advantage, won the first two games in this American League Championship Series. But tonight, the contest takes place on another field, in another city, in another country. It’s played at the Rogers Centre, and the spelling of “Centre” is a hint that the game is being played in Toronto.

CW, 9:00 p.m. ET

This week, Jane the Virgin takes a classic soap opera spin, whether it’s an American soap or a telenovela. It introduces the formerly unknown lookalike doppelganger – with, of course, Gina Rodriguez playing both. It’s not exactly Orphan Black, but it’s a start…

FX, 10:00 p.m. ET

If you found, and stayed with, last week’s season premiere, you’ve already seen one of the fall’s best new series. If you didn’t, dive in tonight anyway, whether or not you catch up on streaming video. (Feels like I’ve said this before somewhere.) The second hour of this Fargo Season 2 reboot is even better than the first, and the characterizations even richer. Watch, in particular, for a traffic stop by Ted Danson. Classic polite-speaking faceoff between good and evil.

PBS, 10:00 p.m. ET

Tonight’s installment of Phil Rosenthal’s global tour of culinary treats and food-loving people goes to Hong Kong, where the hot pot is hot, and the eggs can be centuries old… For my interview with Rosenthal about this delightful PBS food and travel series, see Bianculli’s Blog. Check local listings.

One other issue is when you are in a predicament where you would not have a co-signer then you may genuinely wish to try to exhaust all of your financing options. You can get many grants or loans and other grants that will give you finances to assist with school expenses. Thank you for the post.
