ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT: THE COMPLETE SERIES – In a few more months, this boxed set’s title no longer will be accurate, since a new collection of episodes is being produced later in 2013 for Netflix. All the more reason, though, to refresh (or begin) your acquaintance with this outrageously inventive comedy series, which was produced with the overt idea that many jokes could be planted visually or almost subliminally, to be discovered or more fully enjoyed during repeat viewing on DVD. So here it is – and, at this writing, available on Amazon at an outrageous price, with all three seasons bundled together for $44.26. Jason Bateman, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Tony Hale and Jessica Walter star, and Ron Howard narrates. That’s less than five bucks a star. Why wait? – DB
