Before Breaking Bad, there was The Price Is Right
July 25, 2012  | By Eric Gould

Before Breaking Bad, there was The Price Is Right – If we ever wondered if Aaron Paul's amped-up antics as Walter White' assistant Jesse Pinkman were carefully cultivated in rehearsal or sprang more out of intuitive improv, we need look no further than his long-ago appearance on The Price Is Right. Last Thursday when the Breaking Bad star received his second Emmy nomination, he visited The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and discovered they'd hunted down a videotape of his 1998 appearance as a contestant. When he cartoon-skitters sideways down the aisle and shouts "You're the man, Bob!! You're my idol!" it's easy to see what the Breaking Bad casting director saw in Paul. —EG
