Simone Signoret is featured in two films tonight made decades apart, but sharing a sense of foreboding, as well as an intricate mystery plot. First up is this 1955 suspense film, in which a wife finds out about her husband’s mistress – and enlists her in a plan to kill him. Vera Clouzot, Paul Meurisse co-star.
