Six episodes in, and Gotham has solidified its early promise as one of the few new fall series worth a pledge of allegiance. It’s been clever, and visually stylish, from the start, and tonight’s episode continues the slow roll-out of familiar story lines and characters. Tonight, for example, a villain known as The Goat targets Gotham City’s privileged one-percenters – and one of them, young Bruce Wayne, defiantly decides not to run for cover.
