Burt Lancaster month continues on TCM – and tonight, his movies include this 1961 courtroom thriller set in postwar Germany, about Nazis tried for war crimes in an international court. And Lancaster is only one of the major, major stars here. Others include Spencer Tracy, Marlene Dietrich, Maximilian Schell, Judy Garland and Montgomery Clift. Also featured: two faces that would become quite familiar in subsequent Sixties TV shows: William Shatner of Star Trek, and Werner Klemperer of Hogan’s Heroes. One was Kirk, the other Klink.
