SERIES PREMIERE: Building a sci-fi series around intergalactic bounty hunters is nothing new, and Killjoys, written by Michelle Lovretta, strives to hit the same vibe as Joss Whedon’s Firefly: charming rogue, beautiful and resourceful companion, colorful villains, “Wild West in space” feel. It doesn’t quite gel in the first few episodes, but there are moments – and Hannah John-Kamen, as the bounty hunter named Dutch, makes a strong first impression.
