2012 MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYOFFS
October 11, 2012  | By David Bianculli

Various Networks, 1:00 p.m. ET

The New York Yankees delivered a thriller of a postseason game yesterday: after trailing the Baltimore Orioles for the entire game, the Yankees tied it in the bottom of the ninth when Raul Ibanez hit a solo homer – then won the game in the bottom of the 12th when he hit another one. The Yankees now lead the series 2-1, with Game 4 played at 7:30 p.m. ET on TBS. Other games today, and where you can find them: the final-elimination Game 5 of the Cincinnati Reds vs. San Francisco Giants series, at 1 p.m. ET on TBS; Game 4 of the Washington Nationals vs. St. Louis Cardinals series, with the Cards ahead 2-1, starting at 4 p.m. ET on TBS; and, thanks to the Oakland Athletics’ stunning ninth-inning comeback victory against the Detroit Tigers late last night, a do-or-die Game 5 in that series, televised at 9:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
