Write-Off Theatre, Take Two: With only a few days left before the end of the fiscal year, Fox is burning off a first-run episodes of a series it’s already canceled, just to get the loss on the books before the New Year arrives. That’s my deduction – and the network’s, too. Just an observation. Not a recommendation.

When you were interviewed by Terry Gross, you said you thought "Mob Doctor" was one of the 10 worst shows on TV. While I do not think it was great, and am not overly disappointed it was cancelled, I hardly think it merits being on a '10 worst list'. If you are watching TV all the time, as you stated on that interview, surely there are dozens of shows that could have been mentioned that are far, far worse and, unfortunately, are still on the air .
