Here’s an episode loaded with daddy issues, and other kinds: Jess (Zooey Deschanel) gets another visit from her dad, played by Rob Reiner – but this time he’s brought along a much younger woman, to whom he intends to propose. Complicating things is the fact that the “new girl” in question attended high school the same time as Jess – and, way back when, even stole Jess’ boyfriend. Now she’s after Jess’ dad – and she’s played, in what's announced as a recurring role, by Kaitlin Olson, who plays Dee on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
