2014 ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY
June 11, 2014  | By David Bianculli  | 3 comments

HBO2, 9:00 p.m. ET

Tune in at the start of this repeat of the 2014 induction ceremony, because that’s where most of the best music is – led by the all-star tribute to Linda Ronstadt, featuring lyrical ladies Carrie Underwood, Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Sheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks.

Actually, Linda Ronstadt suffers from Parkinson's disease and can no longer sing. She retired in 2011. She by no means snubbed the hall of fame. I imagine either her health prevented her attendance or she just didn't feel comfortable being on stage with her illness being so noticeable. I don't fault her.

Why not a little more advanced notice on airings. I read these articles, but, by the time I do the shows have aired. Thanks

Great tribute. Too bad, too sad that Ronstadt's remarkable voice was missing. Linda doesn't give a damn about such honors - we do.
