SEASON FINALE: I gave up on this A&E revised miniseries remake a while ago — but if you’re still on board, tonight is the show’s season finale. And it could be the finale, period, because at this point, A&E has yet to announce whether The Returned will be… returned.

I hope others have taken the opportunity to find the Original version on Netflix.
It was so much more subtle, thoughtful... but that has been the result on nearly all remakes that I can think of. I have found Secrets and Lies and The Slap also disappointing, having seen the originals. Don't we have creative people ready to make NEW programming, and wouldn't it be delightful to see what they have to offer?
