DR. STRANGELOVE OR: HOW I LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING AND LOVE THE BOMB
February 19, 2015  | By David Bianculli

TCM, 8:00 p.m. ET

This is a message for all TVWW readers in general, but to any of my Rowan University film students in particular: If you’ve never seen this 1964 Stanley Kubrick satire about the Cold War, correct that mistake tonight. It’s one of the funniest, most audacious film comedies ever made – and sadly, given current events and the concerns over Russian encroachment, its subject has become topical all over again. Peter Sellers stars, in several different roles.
