Last week, the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) couldn’t exit the TARDIS, because of a shift in space-time dimensional relative reality. (You had to be there.) Tonight, he can exit his time-and-spaceship – and when he does, he returns to a familiar place, Trafalgar Square in London. But it’s in a very unfamiliar condition.
