2015 MEN'S NCAA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
March 18, 2015  | By David Bianculli

TruTV, 6:30 p.m. ET

Last night, truTV presented the first two of this season’s “First Four” play-in games, in which scrappy teams fought for the chance to advance as the lowest-seeded squads in the 2015 NCAA tournament. In the first game, Hampton beat Manhattan to notch its first tournament win in 14 years. And in the second game, Ole Miss bounced back from a double-digit deficit to tie BYU late in the second half, then traded shots, and leads, back and forth before emerging with the win, in one of those games that demonstrate exactly why March Madness is so exciting a TV event. Expect many more. Tonight, the other teams in the “First Four” do battle on truTV, with North Florida vs. Robert Morris playing at 6:40 p.m. ET, followed at approximately 9:10 p.m. ET by Dayton vs. Boise State. For the full story, see Gerald Jordan's Crossing Jordan.
