SERIES PREMIERE: Pay attention. The last times CBS saturated its airwaves with a new reality competition series, it was to launch Survivor, which changed the TV landscape in the year 2000, and Big Brother, which, like Survivor, is still around. I wish it weren’t, but that’s me. Anyway, this new series, stripped every weeknight beginning tonight, is CBS’s version of a hit reality dating show from England. And for a British account of that original Love Island, we have a new dispatch from our British correspondent, who is about to move stateside for a few years to teach TV in the States.
