Stanley Kubrick’s 1968 film is a movie masterpiece of the first order. Conceptually, it’s one of the best movies ever made – and the fact that we can watch it more than 50 years later and still marvel at it, and accept its imagined future, is as remarkable as anything it shows on screen.
