HBO, 10:00 p.m. ET

This new HBO standup comedy special has Gary Gulman taking the stage, and the microphone, to speak frankly – and sometimes, but not always, very humorously – about his lifelong struggle with depression. If comedy is indeed the best medicine, I prescribe this special without hesitation. Depression isn’t funny, but Gulman is.
