MR. ROBOT

Last week, Mr. Robot returned to television almost as a stealth mission – barely noticed or promoted. Yet written and directed by Sam Esmail, it was another strong outing, and a welcome return for the series which won Rami Malek an Emmy before his big-screen portrayal of Freddie Mercury won him an Oscar. In last week’s premiere, it took 20 minutes before Malek showed up… but so much happened to other characters, it was worth the wait.
