HOUSE IMPEACHMENT HEARINGS
November 19, 2019  | By David Bianculli

Various Networks, 9:00 a.m. ET

Week 2 of this real-life political miniseries drama continues today, with two different “episodes” presented at different times of the day. In the morning, at 9 a.m. ET, two witnesses are called to testify before the committee. One is Jennifer Williams, a foreign service aide from Vice President Mike Pence’s office whose deposed testimony appeared to contradict Pence’s statements of being unaware and uninformed of the alleged U.S. pressure on the new Ukraine leader to generate information or allegations that could be harmful to President Trump’s leading political rival. The other is Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman (pictured), who, like Williams, listened in as Trump spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on that infamous July 25 phone call.  By now, if you’ve been paying attention, you already know where to find live TV coverage of these hearings. And if you haven’t, you aren’t likely to start now.
