I LOVE LUCY CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

The colorized I Love Lucy episodes have become a CBS holiday tradition – along with the similarly multihued episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show, which this year, sadly, are not part of the mix. But this year, we get, as usual, two Lucy episodes: the now annually repeated “The Christmas Episode” from 1956, as well as a newly colorized treat. It’s another I Love Lucy from 1956, this one called “Paris at Last,” which has Lucy (Lucille Ball, pictured) encountering escargot at a French cafe. Which reminds me of a joke: This naked escargot slithers into a French police station…
