CBS NEWS DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY DEBATE
CBS, 8:00 p.m. ET
Last week’s Democratic primary debate featured six participants – including, for the first time, former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg, who was all but trounced by Elizabeth Warren. Tonight’s debate is the tenth of this election cycle, live from South Carolina, and Bloomberg is back for what has to be a stronger performance, even though he’s not on the ballot in that state. And there’s a new person on stage this week: Tom Steyer, who, like Bloomberg, is spending lots of his money on TV ads to rise in the polls. And tonight, expect frontrunner Bernie Sanders to draw lots of fire, and for Joe Biden to try and dominate in a debate held in a state considered, for him, a must-win.
