DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE: Ron Howard directs this emotional and inspirational look at the 2018 fire that almost completely destroyed the California community of Paradise. But pay close attention to the title, because that’s the true focus of this movie, and what ultimately makes it more stirring than frightening. The beginning of Rebuilding Paradise is like a true horror movie, culled from smartphone footage of Paradise residents trying to escape the sudden engulfing conflagration.
