MINISERIES FINALE: This 14-part documentary series has been marvelous to watch, and extremely instructive. And tonight it ends, with a final documentary installment followed by one last night of international films directed by woman worldwide. And this Women Make Film TCM multi-month celebration may have saved the weirdest for last: At 6 a.m. ET Wednesday, it’s the 2015 film The Lure, directed by Agnieszka Smoczynska, in which a local Polish cabaret hires a pair of enchanting new singers – who happen to be mermaids.
