The American Film Institute ranked this 1941 Orson Welles movie as the best film ever made. That’s one of dozens of reasons to watch this movie again, or especially anew, but this week brings a new one. On Friday, Netflix premieres a new movie called Mank, telling the story of the making of Citizen Kane by focusing on the man credited as the co-author of the film’s screenplay: Herman J. Mankiewicz.
