SERIES PREMIERE: This is one of those drama series that falls apart the second you stop to think about its massive improbabilities and inconsistencies – but if you don’t stop to do that, it’s entertaining enough. It’s certainly got the most visually arresting promo of the fall season – a naked but tattooed-neck-to-foot woman emerging from a large bag in Times Square. That woman, played by Jaimie Alexander (last seen as a guest star on ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), has no memory, but lots of latent skills – languages, martial arts, etc. But the absurd part is that the FBI uses her tattoos, which apparently are clues to forthcoming events, to solve crimes, and start off by reading one tat that just happens to apply to something imminent.
