SERIES PREMIERE: It’s baaa-aack! Just when you thought it was safe to return to your TV set. It’s Fuller House, a next-generation sequel that’s better than the original T.G.I.F. mainstay – but though accurate, that’s still not intended as a compliment. I’ll allow that anyone who loved the original Full House as a kid probably will enjoy this new version, which updates the series, and the old series dynamic, with fidelity to the old show. Everyone shows up for the opener, save for the Olsen twins, and other appearances by Uncle Jesse and the rest are scattered throughout the other Season One episodes, all of which are available for streaming today. That’s where I think Netflix missed a bet here – these Fuller House episodes should have dropped once a week every Friday, just as with Full House in the old days.
