MINORITY REPORT
September 21, 2015  | By David Bianculli

Fox, 9:00 p.m. ET

SERIES PREMIERE: “The only future you cannot see is your own,” one character says to another in this TV sequel to the Tom Cruise movie, explaining the roles of “pre-cog” see-the-future vision in a “post-pre-crime” world. All the technical effects are cool, as they should be – but the future of this sci-fi series, based on the characters and feel of the pilot, doesn’t seem all that bright. For my full review, listen today to NPR's Fresh Air with Terry Gross or visit the Fresh Air website. For the full review by TVWW's Ed Bark, read Uncle Barky's Bytes. Also, if you haven’t already, check out our special TVWW 2015 Fall Preview page, where our writers and editors offer capsule reviews and reactions to the new fall series.
