AMERICAN MASTERS: "THE WOMEN'S LIST"
PBS, 9:00 p.m. ET
America, meet 15 women who have created and defined American culture, as selected and profiled by list-compiling photographer and documentarian Timothy Greenfield-Sanders (The Black List, The Latino List, etc.). It’s a one-hour documentary, so that’s about four minutes per woman, tops – but what women! The list includes actress Edie Falco, singer Alicia Keys, TV writer-producer Shonda Rhimes, politician Nancy Pelosi, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright (pictured, in one of the filmmaker’s photos), and 10 others – including one, talk show host Wendy Williams, who, despite her achievements, really doesn’t belong here. For a full review, see Tom Brinkmoeller’s Raised on MTM. Check local listings.
