COMEDIANS AT THE PALEY CENTER NOT GETTING COFFEE
June 23, 2015  | By David Bianculli  | 1 comment

In Wednesday’s Best Bets, I’m recommending the latest edition of Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which premieres that day on Crackle. It features Seinfeld spending time with Bill Maher. But while previewing that, I came upon a complete 2014 clip, from the Paley Center for Media, in which Seinfeld is interviewed about his Coffee streaming series by one of its most famous fans: David Letterman. It’s a wonderful hour, including several clips – but talks more about comedy, and Seinfeld’s opinion of what makes a TV show and a comedy act, than you’re likely to hear almost anywhere else. – David Bianculli

Great recommendation, David. Can you supply a link to the Letterman/Seinfeld interview? Thanks.
