So, with some of the TVWW crew in The Olde Towne, the Late Night with Seth Meyers spoof on Boston film tropes in a trailer for a fake picture called Boston Accent was especially loved. Like wicked pissa. Myers, raised in New Hampshire, happily upturns Mystic River, The Town, Black Mass, and Gone Baby Gone with characters like the upscale Kennedy-sounding Guy, the working-class Cop Guy and the Southie Bro Guy. There are plenty of other standards here, too, like the obligatory aerial shots of Fenway Park’s “Green Monstah” and fake review quotes, like one from Variety that called Boston Accent “the movie with the most Boston accents this year.” — Eric Gould
