EMMYS: Everybody great ever on TV
September 22, 2008  | By Diane Werts

emmy collage.jpgIn case you missed last night's Emmy Awards -- and really, the final game at Yankee Stadium on ESPN was a much more exciting place to be -- ABC.com has a clip of key acceptance speecheson its Emmys web page.

There's also the Thank You Cam into which the winners babbled backstage about their triumph. (And we do mean babble.)

But best of all, there's a 60th-year Emmys celebratory collage of great charactersfrom throughout TV history -- complete with a key to identifying them, since there are more than 400 faces included.

Re: the Emmy's. I thought the whole program stunk (out loud). What a waste of time it was to sit there for 3 hours listening to a bunch of babble from the winners. (Actually, I DVR'd it, and am I glad I did).

I'm soooo annoyed that Kyra Sedgewick didn't win for "The Closer". I don't like the idea AT ALL that (Paid) cable programs are clumped in with regular programming. Not everyone subscribes to HBO and/or SHO. Plus, Kyra does a great job on the show and her whole cast is wonderful!
