Key & Peele are just releasing their Complete Series collection this week and their comedy series, while notable for its hairpiece excellence, is perhaps more so as an early adopter of social media. With our TV universe of quality content expanding each year, it’s harder for good shows to cut through the clutter. Competition for viewers is now won online from clips on Facebook and YouTube. Key & Peele had one of the greatest examples of that with their “East-West College Bowl” in 2012. One of our all-time K&P faves is “Turbulence” which let everyone know that using the bathroom while the fasten seat belt sign is on is not… against… the… law. (Content Warning: TV14-L and NSFW.
