HOW TO HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE
December 29, 2014  | By Monique Nazareth  | 2 comments

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver may be on hiatus until February 8, but its host couldn't resist going on YouTube to give his take on the holidays. Specifically what he thinks is the "worst” holiday of them all: New Year's Eve. He released his video a few days early in order to be of help to us all. "Honestly the best thing you can do is avoid the whole evening," says Oliver. "And to do that you're going to need some excellent and specific excuses. And this is where we come in."  He goes on to tell us how to fib our way into spending the evening at home and being in bed by 11:45pm. I can't say I disagree with his assessment. Happy New Year everyone! – Monique Nazareth
