I'M SO GLAD THEY HAD THIS TIME TOGETHER
September 19, 2015  | By Linda Donovan  | 1 comment

During Stephen Colbert’s second week as host of CBS’ Late Show, he arranged a sort of mini-tribute to one of the funniest, if not the funniest, women on the planet – Carol Burnett. Ms. Burnett, still stunning, talented, and fiercely funny, at 82 years old, was there to promote the DVD release of The Carol Burnett Show: The Lost Episodes and appeared genuinely surprised by the sudden appearance of Kevin Spacey, just another one of her millions of admirers. Even better, Spacey “brought” someone along to honor Ms. Burnett. What a genuine and impressive moment, made all the more special if you remember the original, like I do, on which Spacey based his performance. Spacey is remarkable, though I think he'd agree that no one can compare to Carol Burnett. -- Linda Donovan
