Lanes, Pains and Automobiles
January 10, 2014  | By Eric Gould

Here's Jon Stewart's rant on Wednesday about the Fort Lee traffic scandal that's boiling around New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and recorded before Christie's lengthy press conference Thursday. Emails were uncovered from Christie's Deputy Chief of Staff requesting lane closings on the George Washington Bridge into Manhattan allegedly as part of some sort of political punishment for the Fort Lee mayor for not endorsing the Governor in the last election. The stunt created traffic nightmares for locals and commuters but Stewart finds the whole thing third-rate, unworthy of the true heights of Jersey-style payback. –EG
