Lincoln C.K.
November 4, 2012  | By Eric Gould

Louis C.K., appearing on the latest Saturday Night Live, hit more than a few bullseyes, starting with a fantastic opening bit from his stand-up routine. He also included a parody of his own Emmy-winning show, Louie. Entitled Lincoln — with the same theme (lyrics a little darker) and an opening sequence at the same subway exit and New York pizza joint — it's a clever homage to the upcoming Steven Spielberg epic. Using the same single camera format as Louie, it imagines a hilarious look at the President's more awkward and private moments, including outtakes from his strikingly similar stand-up act from the Civil War days. -EG
