OK, Here We Go Again
February 12, 2016  | By Eric Gould

We’re big fans of OK Go, the alt-rock group that seems to have made its stake not only with hit songs, but also with accompanying jaw-dropping videos that are art projects all by themselves. Not satisfied with just smart content, the OK Go videos are maybe better known for being equally as astonishing for being shot in one take, without any CGI effects. (You can see our raves about their videos for “The Writing’s on the Wall” here, and “I Won’t Let You Down,” here.) This video, for their song “Upside Down, Inside Out” is shot inside an S7 Airlines jet (headquartered in Russia) flying in a specific arc that makes gravity disappear for 25 seconds at a time. Full of color, synchronized, weightless choreography and, er, liquids, the whole thing takes multimedia performance to it’s modern extreme. This is one time it’s better to unbuckle your seatbelt. —Eric Gould
