Purple Game

Once in a while we have to admit the commercials are more entertaining than the programs. OK, often — and that the ad men, much like their Mad Men forefathers, are the funniest guys in the room. Case in point is new Dr Pepper pitch character “Little Sweet," a diminutive Prince-inspired character who is the personification of the slightly sweet flavor of the soda, now clocking 130 years since its debut. The joke here is that many know who Little Sweet is, while others are completely clueless… and need to try Dr Pepper, of course. Some Internet reports have Prince riled up about the purple-wigged homage but we’re thinking it’s a pretty buzzworthy way to stay in the mix. And oddly hilarious, too.
