The Sugarhill Gang may have added those last two names to their famous “Rappers Delight” lyrics if they’d been able to see what Tonight Show viewers witnessed this past week. Anyone who watches late night talk shows knows that Brian Williams is more than a newsman – he’s a favorite guest who can keep up with the guy at the desk when handed a straight line. During Jimmy Fallon’s debut week on The Tonight Show, the music-loving Brian Williams made an appearance, along with a couple of colleagues, “performing” what is generally considered the first rap song to became hugely popular across the U.S. and the world. “Rapper’s Delight” was done in one take. We wonder how long it took the talented editors at The Tonight Show to put together this amazing version… -- Linda Donovan
