Seth’s Strong Suit
August 11, 2015  | By Eric Gould

Seth Meyers has reportedly dropped his monologue opening of NBC's Late Night, instead beginning the show the past couple of nights with news behind his desk, a throw back to his old SNL role as anchor of “Weekend Update.” No official word on whether the change is permanent, but it’s not a bad shift for the late night format. And right on the heels of Jon Stewart’s departure from the Comedy Central fake news desk, it’s maybe not a bad idea. Meyers is shown here from Monday, August 10, beginning with every comic’s current pot of gold — Donald Trump. —Eric Gould
