HOW DOES 'SHERLOCK' SURVIVE? ELEMENTARY, MY DEAR WATSON — Sherlock, the character and the series, is returning from the dead. Fans of the popular PBS import watched Holmes, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, seemingly leap to his death from a tall building at the end of season 2. Just how he survived won't be revealed in the U.S. until the series returns to PBS in early 2014, while those in the UK will see it on the BBC in the fall.
