Surfing the White Way
Well, out of the blue (or the white), one of our dedicated readers sent us a link for our Video Worth Watching feature and we agree it’s perfect! Getting around Manhattan, on a good day, can be a challenge. Add over two feet of snow from Winter Storm Jonas to the equation and you need to become creative. As you begin to think about what to do with your unexpected day off, you suddenly think, “Yeah, but there’s two feet of snow out there!” And you can’t help yourself. You owe it to the 10-year-old you. YouTube star Casey Neistat, on his snowboard, hitched a ride through the streets of Midtown, down the middle of Broadway and was later joined by the NYPD – who reacted in a surprising way.
