1957: 'The Jonathan Winters Show' Ends

This day in 1957 marked the final telecast of The Jonathan Winters Show on NBC.

The 15-minute telecast, which debuted on Oct. 2, 1956, featured a Winters monologue, along with comedy sketches and musical numbers by guest performers. Regulars included The Eddie Safranski Orchestra and announcer Don Pardo.
