1995: CBS Introduces 'Cybill'

This day in 1995 marked the debut of the CBS comedy, Cybill, which starred Moonlighting's Cybill Shepherd as an aging, twice-divorced forty-something actress struggling with her professional and personal lives.
Created by Chuck Lorre, the series, which ran four seasons, starred Christine Baranski as Cybill's best friend, Maryann, Dedee Pfeiffer and Alicia Witt as her daughters, Rachel and Zoey, and Tom Wopat and Alen Rosenberg as her first and second ex-husband, respectively.
