The Stars That Went Out in 2012
It's that last week on the calendar when we look back on another year (that flew by so fast) and the notable television stars that left with it. TVWW had a lot to remember in 2012, including the passing of Mike Wallace and Dick Clark (by David Bianculli), Andy Griffith and Andy Williams (by Noel Holston), Davy Jones (by Diane Werts) Larry Hagman and Phyllis Diller (by Ed Bark) and Jack Klugman (by Christy Slewinski). Turner Classic Movies has put together its annual tribute to the departed including these and other Hollywood notables in an evocative reel set in an abandoned drive-in theater.
