SNL returned for its 44th season Saturday night (9/30/18) with Adam Driver hosting and starring in this sketch based on Paul Thomas Anderson’s 2008 drama, “There Will Be Blood." Driver stars as Abraham H. Parnassus, a bitter old oil baron visiting his son’s school for career day, telling the class the darkest depths of what it took to be a success. Apparently, it involved a bit more than milkshakes. —Eric Gould
