These Riders Aren't Monkeying Around
This should have been a TVWW Christmas present, but let's call it a parting gift for 2012. This short, from the ESPN documentary series E:60, features Team Ghost Riders, a troupe of Capuchin Monkeys saddled up on Border Collies as they corral a herd of Bighorn Sheep -- spaghetti western soundtrack, and all. Former bull rider and trainer Tim 'Wild Thang' Lepard's sincerity is obvious when he says of his best rider, Sam, "you can tell when you look at this monkey, he's got his mind on his business". With all due respect to Lepard's Cowboy Monkey Rodeo (and it's impressive) there's maybe nothing funnier than a monkey in a cowboy suit on a dog at full gallop. Just saying. –EG
